Valentine Memories

I filled my bookshelf with vintage and newer vintage
Valentines and Photo's this year,

Valentine's given to me as a child, then later as an adult,
as a Mother and a friend, Sweet Valentines from my children when
they were in grade school............sigh.........

One year I made these fun little Cupid Boot's.......

Vintage photo's........here my Mother and Father before they were
married......and a little Valentine given to me in my childhood
from my Mother.........

Antique picture, camera, of my
Grandmother, "Grammy", (her name was Ida),
with a newer MOM Valentine,

I think Grammy is about 16 years in this photo,
and these are the glasses she has on in the photo.......

Just an interesting picture of my Grammy,
Her brother Henry sitting, and then
her step brother and sister ......

This is Grammy's book..... so pretty......
Do they make beautiful book covers like
this anymore?

I have a friend who works at a book depository center,
this book was one to be thrown out!!!!
I had to have it!!!

Another beautiful embossed book cover,
found at the antique mall where my shop is,

My sister and I were having a slumber party,
and pretending to be "Hippies" in this photo,
LOL !!!!

My sweet Valentine from my youngest of Big Bird,
among antique Valentine calling cards !!!

My Christmas Rose from my youngest,
It also works for Valentine's Day !

Mother received a degree as an Registered Nurse,
in exchange for serving in the Army during WW II
The year she graduated the war ended, so she did not
end up serving, however had a great career as an

My Father a naval officer , stationed in Hawaii
during the WW II

Now I am making and saving Sweet Valentine Memories
with my Grandchildren...........

Meanwhile they enjoy seeing and learning about these old memories
while we make new ones together for future blog postings!!

Wishing you all Happy Valentine memories!
