Whites of the Civil War

I just returned from the Civil War Reenactment, and saw many scenes of
white, so thought I would share some of them with you for
Kathleen's White Wednesday,
This was one of the best years for the event. No terrible heat or humidity,
very unusuall, Sunday was mid 70's, wonder if this means an early fall
and winter, you just never know here in Michigan.
Great turn out of visitors for the event, everyone had a great time.

In the early weeks of the Civil War civilians did travel with their loved ones to
the battles, and would camp along the way, of course this is camping equipment of
the time, so when you visit the civilian camps you see complete rooms within the
canvas tents.

Now back in time to the real world of stacks of sewing projects
for the upcoming holiday season. Enjoy the Labor Day Weekend everyone
and make it a safe one. Blessings to you all!
